Well it's been a while. new years eve was crazy. It was like Gilligan's Island. We went for a 3 day gig and i did not get home for 10 days due to flights and family commitments once I landed in LA. My parents survived a horrific accident in their SUV and walked away from it. amazing.. god is good. fords are tough and insurance covers the rest. Let me see from the 29th of Dec to Jan 7th is long enough for a 3 day gig. although it was fun the musicians made it through and were troopers like you would not believe. it was nuts. I could possibly be still out there. We were in 3 different countries in the short time we were out. I have to admit the islands were absolutely gorgeous. amazing places in this world let me tell you. not only would I have never gone to the places I have been i for sure could not afford it. blessed yes.. wow. anyway i will try to write more in 2009. More to come.

Wow.. August 2008 has been something else. After finishing A Chorus Line Run I started playing with Ziggy Marley. A total luck gig. Someone couldn't make it and BAM!. Ziggy is happening.. he has huge ears and a lot of creativity. The band is smoking and very cool cats.. new camp is always good.I took my daughter to her first Angels baseball game.; Man she had a blast. Dancing and doing all the fan clapping. The other fans couldn't believe their eyes. She stayed up all night.. My dad took me to my first game in 1966 wow.. I start on my next project with the Jackson Sisters.. it's a fund raiser to bring awareness to artists ripped off my record execs. It will be in October.

Wow.. it's great being home except one thing. I like traveling...LOL Anyway I just finished a run of The King & I.. it was fun.... Also getting ready to head of to Indonesia and before that doing a Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald at the Disney Hall. I actually knew Ella.. what a great lady she was.. I was and still am one of her biggest fans.

Wow... life is taking some changes. I am trying to do what I want versus doing what I have to. Well that makes for an interesting series of events. Well in order to go forward sometimes you have to seem like you are going backwards. My daughter is almost 1 year old and I am trying to do anything I can to stay home, work, and be with her and my wife as much as possible. I am having an exciting time being daddy, husband, and all that goes with it. So I hope you all have a great year and I will keep you posted more often. Tata.. Wen

Well, the trip to Vegas was a little strange to say the least with the Leonard Neil Orchestra.. I think the best part of the gig was seeing Tim Allen win a Grand Cherokee of which he doesn't need and also the topless women at the pool of the Wynn hotel. The Iacocca Foundation gig was ok.. star studded but run a little downscale to the upscale clientele. Although the event was all good it could have been better. The band only had to play about 1 hours worth of music over all. That's the good thing... so that we can get back to the business at hand at the tables..

The gig with Mary Wilson in Palm Springs was great. We almost had to cancel the show due to the wind. Wow it was really kicking. It was also a charity event for AIDS awareness and healing. It was a great event and it was put on full scale and top knotch. It was great to see Mary and also her band. They play great and most of all are great cats. Talk to you all again soon.
